All Mothers United was started in 2013 in Wisconsin. All Mothers United is a very new and unique concept that was created by mothers using their own experiences as moms! We like to say we are like Girl Scouts, but for moms! We at All Mothers United truly believe that there are moms and grandmothers who have questions and need support and except for the internet, there just are not many resources out there for them regarding this important job of motherhood. You see, although we had opportunities to meet other moms at playgroups, book groups, school functions and Bible studies we started noticing that as our children grew, most moms just wanted to talk about the great things their kids were doing.

"At Madison No Fear Dentistry we believe in creating a positive and comfortable experience that will result in a life-long relationship of trust and confidence with your family and your children. We strive to be the most forward thinking, innovative, and patient-friendly dental office in Madison. Our practice focuses on exceptional results in both patient comfort and comprehensive care in cosmetic, preventive, and restorative dentistry. We welcome you to join our family at Madison No Fear Dentistry!"

CPR/Fist Aid Training:

ICPRI's online courses consist of photography, video and animation, all of which creates a visual image of proper first aid techniques that will remain etched in the mind of the student for a longer time. That's important when considering that certifications are usually good for two years and techniques can be forgotten quickly.COME BACK TO ICPRI AND REFRESH ANYTIME, IT'S ALL INCLUDED IN THE ONE TIME COST OF THE COURSE!

Partnering with United Way:

This next year, Peace of Mind Nannies is partnering with United Way of Dane County to provide you with some opportunities to connect with the Dane County Community through volunteering and donating.  I know that many of you are looking for ways to get involved in our community, and after hearing a presentation from United Way, I thought that working with them would be a great way to get involved.
United Way engages our community, mobilizes volunteers and strengthens local nonprofits to achieve measurable results and change lives.  No other organization in our community focuses so many resources on these incredibly important issues.  Here are just a few examples of how our support makes a difference:
Education:Parent-Child Home, a new research-based home visitation model, was implemented last year and is reaching 45 families to improve kindergarten readiness for children. We are on track to serve a total of 90 families this fall. Through 28 Play and Learn sites and 14 Born Learning Trail sites, we provided skills and educational play opportunities to 2,200 parents, child care providers and children in 2011. Take a look at this video which highlight’s United Way’s work in Education.
Safety:In 2011, more than 2,100 families remained in permanent homes and avoided the instability of homelessness thanks to United Way’s housing strategies.
Health:A screening and intervention took used to identify and address anger, anxiety and depression in youth reaches 88% of sixth-graders in the four major school districts in Dane County, giving students a greater chance at reaching graduation.
**These results are impressive, but there’s still work to be done!  Please join me in considering the ways that we can give back to the community through opportunities to both volunteer and donate.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are many volunteer opportunities that are available for us to participate in.  I have identified some that you may be interested in doing.  Check out the description, and if you are interested in volunteering for the opportunity, there is contact information listed for each opportunity that you can contact to set up the details in order to volunteer.  If you are interested in additional opportunities, please check out
  • Center for Families needs Childcare Assistant Volunteers need to make a one-year commitment and agree to do a four-hour shift once a week or every other week. Because the social work staff schedule children according to staff and volunteers’ availability, it is important for volunteers to maintain a consistent presence. If interested, please phone Ann Lynch at 608-729-1142 for details.
  • Dane County Parent Council is looking for volunteers to play, read, talk and sing with their diverse group of infants and toddlers in the Early Head Start program.  Make them smile as they explore their environment!  Help them learn and grow.  Volunteers get to cuddle and play while baby’s mom attends a Parent Support group.  Mondays from noon-2pm on Madison’s west side—2096 Red Arrow Trail.  Contact Michelle Chaudoir, Volunteer Coordinator, (608) 270-3430
