What Do We Do For You?

Family Applications:

There will be an initial phone interview and a face to face interview with the family. Interviews are helpful to get an overall picture of what each family is specifically looking for. Applications will describe the family, what they are seeking, what their interests are, and describe the nanny they are seeking.

Thorough Nanny Reviews

There will be an initial phone interview and a face-to-face interview with the agency before the nanny is available for a position. All nanny applications and interviews will describe individual's experience, education and child related experiences. In addition, it will highlight volunteer work, health, family information, interests, skills and what they are looking for. Bios will be written to summarize applications and interviews for families to review.

Background Checks

We are working alongside a private investigative agency that works with nanny agencies. They are qualified and experienced in this field.

Background check will include:

Phase 1

  • Multi-State National Criminal Search
  • National Sex Offender Search

Phase 2 (upon selection of the right candidate for your family)

  • Social Security Number Verification
  • Address Search
  • Driver’s License and Record Check
  • Optional Drug Test (additional cost)

Personal Interviews With You

Interviews with the family will help paint the picture of their ideal nanny situation. This personal connection will be the most important part of our getting-to-know-you process. Whenever possible, we would like to meet your children and spend some time getting to know their personalities, as well.

Interviews with the nanny will be one of the most important parts of our matching process. During these interviews, we will be discovering the candidate's personality, child care experiences, philosophies on discipline / development and references. In addition, we will also be observing their professional appearance and hygiene. We anticipate that it will take between two and eight weeks to identify a nanny for your family. After twelve (12) weeks of an active search, we will re-evaluate our agreement and consider adjusting the search or placing on hold for an agreed upon period of time.

Guarantee/Replacement Policies:

Peace of Mind Nannies offers a six month guarantee policy. We promise in the first six months to provide you with support, answers and follow ups. The policy begins once Peace of Mind Nannies receives a written and/or verbal confirmation of hiring of a nanny.
